We are having an AT&T outage at the office that affected our office line, our cell phones both with AT&T and T-mobile according to patients.

We are unsure as to how long this may last, but our cell phones appear to be working now. The outage is not isolated to our office.

Offices near us are reporting similar outages.

We are all used to HOT Texas summers…but today is going to be particularly HOT!

Take all precautions, drink plenty of fluids, use sun protection - sunblock, hats, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and avoid exercise in the heat - day and night!

Great article.

Cost should always be a consideration. Most of my surgeries are now entirely ambulatory.

Same instruments, anesthesiologist, and surgeon...but sometimes the price of surgery can literally be tens of thousands of dollars more.

There is no reason for this.

I’m hopeful more attention to this will change patterns.

We have three ambulatory surgery centers we practice at. We will continue to strive to assure our patients the best outcomes, and experiences we can!

Being a surgeon in this great state and community has been my greatest honor…the fellow colleagues I work alongside, staff across a variety of hospitals and surgery centers, and patients whom it is my deepest privilege to care for have been the culmination of my life’s achievements and goals!

There was never a time from childhood until now that I did not see myself as a surgeon. It was truly my only career path I ever envisioned.

My commitment to the care of my patients has never been stronger.

Since the establishment of my practice, we have been humbled by the honor of this award year after year.

The greatest award I receive is always the health of my patients and their appreciation. This award from my fellow physicians is my most cherished accolade!

As we move beyond our recent challenges, and will undoubtably face new ones in the future, let us remain hopeful and stronger for what we have faced in the past…and prepared for what we will face in the future!
