Positive Path is a group of independent licensed practitioners offering comprehensive psychological assessments and counseling for children aged 2 and older, teens, adults, couples, and families. Each counselor manages their own business and schedule, providing individualized care. Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Frisco, TX for 1099 contract position. The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for providing individual, group, marriage, and/or family counseling. Additionally, the counselor is able to collaborate and consult with other professionals to offer comprehensive mental health care and support.

LPC, LMFT, and LCSW are welcome to apply!

🧾 Qualifications:

🧠 Manages own clinical work – Handles treatment planning, case management, and client care independently.
💬 Strong communication skills – Excellent interpersonal abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
🕒 Self-directed and organized – Able to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
🎓 Education & credentials – Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
🪪 Licensure & insurance – Holds active state license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) and professional liability

It is a plus if you have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, teens, adults, couples, and families and want to run groups and take insurance! We can help with credentialing independently.

What an amazing event today! We absolutely loved hearing Arif Noorbaksh MD talk about Psychedelics and Depression. Very informative and intriguing presentation -- even with the complex charts about neurons, neurotransmitters, GABA, etc. (I liked it!) 🤯 😅 and thank you for bringing some sweet treats Russell Mitchell!

We are looking to add to our team!

It gets lonely for our counselors in solo practice and joining our team is a perfect way to get the "group practice feel" while building your own business or transition from virtual environment to meeting with clients in-person.

If you are a Licensed Independent Practitioner, LPC, LPC-Associate, LMFT, LMFT-Associate, LCSW, or LMSW, or any related professional such as Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Nutritionist, Psychiatrist, etc.., we would love for you to join our team!

Our Approach
You do not need to take on a full monthly rent that can overwhelm you. With us, you pay a daily rate based on a need on a monthly basis, build your own business and clientele, and keep your own clients. There is "no compete" or "no soliciting" clauses. You simply pay rent and do what you love doing!

What We Provide with the Monthly Sublease:

Unlimited refreshments in the break room
**Marketing in the group web page
**Promoting your services in networking events, conferences, Frisco Chamber of Commerce, FB, etc.
