Recently, the FDA has been investigating a Salmonella outbreak linked to moringa powder. Moringa is often praised for its health benefits, but this highlights a bigger issue: the supplement industry isn’t tightly regulated.
“Natural” doesn’t always mean safe. Quality, sourcing, and testing matter just as much as the ingredients themselves.
Last year, I set up an online wellness store to give people a trusted place to buy products that are properly sourced, tested, and handled throughout the supply chain all the way to your door.
This is why. The industry is unfortunately full of fake, contaminated, and improperly stored supplements which at best do nothing, and at worst can put you in the hospital, like in this case. 26 people have been hospitalized to date. The contaminated supplements were being sold on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart, among many other big online retailers. Purchasing supplements from any online retailer carries some risk.
I care that people have a place to purchase supplements from a trusted source that they know are safe and effective. My store ships products directly from the manufacturer. There are no retailers involved, distribution warehouses not conducive for storing supplements, or chances for fake products to be introduced.
If you’re buying supplements online, please make sure they’re:
✔️ Third-party tested
✔️ Transparently sourced
✔️ Clinically guided
✔️ Purchased direct from the supplement company
Your health deserves more.
