Spent the last 6 months coming back home to myself. Not entirely there, but a lot closer than I’ve been since I was a kid! Coming home from all the noise, chaos, distractions that life shows us as we take this wild ride of being human. Refusing to use perimenopause as an excuse for weight gain, I decided to wake up to this new reality of what my body needs. As I get older having the understanding of what it needs a lot more of and a lot less of. I’m down 25lbs and haven’t felt this great in quite some time!!! Make one small decision today to help alter the course of next years outcome that will enhance your life so you too can come home to yourself. ♥️♥️♥️

Who needs a dude with a boat?! Get your own and teach yourself how to drive it. Probably one of the ballsiest moves I’ve done in a LONG time!!! But I aced it!!! Very proud of myself!!!

What a rough past couple of months, but happy to report I’m almost in the clear. Your vital organs should NEVER be taken for granted!!! And boy was my heart speaking to me loud and clear. Have had to make some serious changes/adjustments that at first seemed uncomfortable, but I soon realized I was just being selfish to my soul. ❤️🙏🏻 I had to remind myself that discipline is self love. And when you practice self love it sure does make you feel warm and fuzzy and feel like you’re on a natural high. It also helps you stay more in tune with your inner being. I stopped seeing my cardiologist and kept a journal of when, what, and where I was noticing issues and made those changes to safeguard my heart. In less than 2 months I’ve already cut my meds in half. Y’all, if I drop dead tomorrow, don’t take my advice!! 😛🤣✌🏻🧍‍♀️ #❤️

Baby boy! You are 8 months old today!!! You are my little ray of light when the room fills dark, my little sunshine when the sky’s are gray! You have an explosive personality that keeps me full of laughter and helped heal my heart! You blow my mind at how freaking smart you are and what a good boy you are! Petey drove me NUTS when he was a puppy! You are an old soul that came in to my life when I needed it most. Im SO grateful to be your momma! Here’s to another 8 and beyond! We are going to have so much fun together in the years to come! I promise you that!! #8 ❤️
