Many people might not know that Downtown Local is proudly veteran owned. Our own Trish, who you’ll often see behind the counter with a smile and a cup of coffee in hand, served in the U.S. Navy. ⚓

Her time in service taught her what it means to rely on your crew, to show up no matter how rough the waters, and to take pride in something bigger than yourself. Those same values built the foundation of Downtown Local — a place rooted in hard work, community, and connection.

Today, we take a moment to honor every man and woman who has worn the uniform — those who served, those still serving, and the families who stand beside them. Your courage, sacrifice, and strength inspire us every day.
