What an exciting day celebrating innovation and community collaboration! 🤖✨

The afternoon kicked off with our Naming Ceremony, where we proudly announced the winners of our General Surgery Robot Naming Contest. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us give our newest surgical technology a name that reflects creativity and care!

At 4 PM, we officially marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting alongside the Fruita Chamber of Commerce and the incredible High Five Robotics team. Students had the opportunity to get hands-on with the demonstration robot and ask Dr. Morse thoughtful questions about robotics in surgery and the future of medical technology.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting step forward in surgical innovation and community partnership! 🚀💙

Our Mission

Family Health West is a Fruita-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, cost-effective, high-value health care which enhances the quality of life for our community. A Tradition of Caring At Family Health West, everything we do revolves around our mission. We have been taking care of families in the lower valley community since 1946. Our people know that those entrusted to our care receive uncompromised compassion and concern. We not only care for individual physical needs, but for the overall well-being of our patients and their families. This is accomplished through our Continuum of Care.
