Yesterday, we were honored to host a meaningful roundtable at The Prescription Pad with Senator Brandon Shippy, Representative John Shirts, Mayor Kari Peterson of Fruitland, Idaho Department of Insurance Director Dean Cameron, Deputy Director Weston Trexler, and fellow independent pharmacy owner Tyler Higgins of Medical Clinic Pharmacy in Caldwell.

We’re grateful for the open discussion around the challenges of low pharmacy reimbursement and for the Idaho Department of Insurance’s continued progress in supporting independent community pharmacies. We also appreciated the opportunity to give our guests a tour of the pharmacy and share a firsthand look at our day-to-day operations. Thank you all for taking the time to listen, collaborate, and stand with local pharmacies like ours.
