1501 N. Raymond Avenue, Suite A
Anaheim, CA 92801 Welcome to TEAM OLIVER! He is my baby. We have hope.

This page is dedicated to Oliver my baby who is paralyzed from being beat with a baseball bat 6 years ago to now being diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer. This page is his journey. His tumor is terminal due to its location under the brain and close to the spinal cord. It is a meningioma and at its current growth rate Oliver only has 1 or 2 months to live. I am shocked beyond belief. But my husband and I are not giving up on our baby. We have decided to start IMRT -- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy. The treatment will last through 6 sessions during a total of 4 weeks. If the treatment is successful, Oliver could live past a year. When it comes down to the end I will be providing the hospice care myself. I am blessed to own a company (that saves animals) and that my time is flexible. My part in the business will have to slow down but I know Larry, my business partner, will support Hendrick and Co when it’s needed. I have already built out a room for Oliver in our offices. I have a bed and equipment at my home as well so there is literally not one moment when he will be without me. Even when I go to the bathroom (TMI, I know) or take a bath he has his little bed in there so that I can handle his seizures if he has any. Oliver is the strongest most beautiful thing I have ever witnesses. He gives me strength when I have none. He gives me hope when I have none. And he fills me with love. We are done yet. Our fight against brain cancer has just begun! Oliver will share his journey with out all on this page. Oliver’s Loving Fathers,
David & Mason

I have a heartbreaking message from Second Chance Rescue NYC and I knew I had to share it with you. Please read their message and leave them words of encouragement in the comments!

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of baby Oliver. Earlier this week, we pulled a mom and her 3 Parvo positive babies, from an overcrowded municipal shelter in rural Georgia. Oliver was the most critical of the three. We fought so hard to save his life, but we lost the battle. The news that he passed crushed our souls. It’s always difficult to lose but even more difficult when their life ends before it begins.

While the loss of Oliver is a big one, we are grateful that Momma Autumn, Archie, and Hunter are doing well.

Oliver, we are so sorry we were too late. You meant a whole lot to us, and we will keep you in our hearts forever. Your life mattered. You never deserved to get sick or sit in a shelter waiting for help. We hope that we were able to fill you up with love for the short time that we had you. We love you so much.

In honor of Oliver, we ask that you please research becoming a foster. The shelter system is overcrowded, and every day is doomsday. We want to pull more dogs who are in need of medical care or time-stamped. We want to get them out but we need your help to do it. We desperately need it now more than ever.
Little babies like Oliver are out there waiting for rescues to save them. Become a foster today. Be a part of something so special and save a life. They need all of us. It can’t wait. Apply today by going to http://ow.ly/Fcu450GCNwY or clicking Linktree in our bio. "

With much sadness the Dallas Dog RRR has to tell you all they lost Susie. There are not sure exactly what happened but this is what was documented in the report.

The doctors said due to the amount of adhesions on the spleen/intestines they were unable to exteriorize. She was truly the best girl a little time but when she was safe she loved and relied on the dogs to guide her.

Run free girl boy did she love to run!! President, Patti Dawson writes "heart and so many others are just broken!" Please leave your words of support for Dallas Dog below!

**UPDATE ON PAGE http://ow.ly/uhfO50GBNBH **

Black cats are being targeted during Halloween! We just received an urgent plea for help for a tiny abused black kitten! She was actively dying and needed critical life-saving care. We hate to say it, but it is not unusual for black cats to be targeted during the Halloween season. It’s horrific, inhumane, and disgusting.

She was brought into the shelter by a good Samaritan who found her lifeless. The shelter vet is unsure whether she has brain trauma or was poisoned but is confident due to her neurological signs that it is one of the two. The shelter does not have the resources to save her life so Second Chance Rescue NYC stepped in.

We can’t help her without you. She is a special needs baby who needs to be medically transported to a specialist and her rescuers. She is unable to use her rear legs and we can only imagine what was done to her.

She was discovered covered in f***s and urine, infested with fleas and ticks and buried in mid outside a church in Alabama. Two good samaritans were walking past the church and heard the cries of the suffering baby and had to dig through to find her.

They started to clean off the f***s, mud and urine to discover that she is paralyzed in the back legs and could not support her weight.

She was found in an area where abused and neglected puppies are often dumped but we can never be sure without a witness! We are raising funds to cover her emergency care here

REMEMBER RINGO?❤️ LOOK AT HIM NOW‼️ 4 months of chemotherapy treatments have saved this beautiful boy!
Ringo was able to tolerate the TVT fighting chemo which has given him a chance at life! He has gained healthy weight and is enjoying his days as a new dog!

We thank you for supporting Ringo’s medical treatment and for believing in NAFAF’s mission the make a difference.

In the hills of Peru suffered RINGO. A sweet boy afflicted with nasal TVT cancer. What that means is he has a sexually transmitted venereal cancer that is curable with multiple intense chemotherapy treatments. Ringo lives in an impoverished area where the drug trade is rampant. Locals are scared and Ringo’s owner has nothing. She reached out to ask for help. She was scared that she would get trouble because how he looks but she loves Ringo and wants to save him.

With immense heartache we have been told that Pili took her last breath. We are heartbroken and defeated to say the least. Pili captured our hearts and tugged at our souls. Near and Far Animal Foundation wanted her to conquer the cruelty and loneliness that she endured.

After years and years of being used by a puppy mill Pili’s body became ravaged by cancer and became blind! She may have been blind but she was surrounded by the loving rescuers at Near and Far Animal Foundation. She couldn’t see but she could feel the love from all over the world.

Pili, we know the angels carried you on their wings over the rainbow bridge and you can now see the beauty of heaven.

Sadly, it's difficult to prosecute animal abuse cases (even with ample and conclusive evidence) & we rarely see any punishment that we feel fits the crime.

Perkins was surrendered to the Fort Worth Animal Shelter in 2019. At the time, his five-month-old body was bloody & covered in scabs from infections including mange. His eyes were swollen shut. He had been adopted by Lewis Lamont Wilson just a few months earlier.

On Tuesday, Wilson, 36, pled guilty to the felony charge of Cruelty to an Animal. He was placed on seven years of supervised probation & if he doesn't meet the conditions of his probation, he faces seven years in prison.

While on probation, he can't own, possess or have care, custody or control over an animal. He also will not be allowed to consume drugs or alcohol & he will have to take domestic violence classes.

“If we had waited for this to go to trial, it could have taken quite some time given the backlog of cases due to the pandemic,” said David Alex, assistant criminal district attorney. “I would rather have him convicted & on probation then remain on bond for that long. This probation means someone will be looking over his shoulder for seven years to make sure he doesn’t come near or hurt another animal.”

This conviction wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of Fort Worth Police Detective Vyers, David Alex, Sharen Wilson, Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney and of course Dallas Dog RRR!!

"He's thriving. He has a great forever family and so many people supported him and got him through this!'

Dallas DogRRR President, Patti Dawson, has been attending court as a representative for all of the people who wished to see Perkins' case heard. The pandemic slowed court proceedings & they began to doubt that Perkins would ever get his day in court. The day came, however, & it is largely thanks to our supporters who wrote letters & made phone calls demanding our voices be heard."

A local rescuer in Peru noticed a dog in the streets that was visibly unhealthy. Dania had thick mucus poring from her nose and sounded like she was having upper respiratory problems and appeared weak.

The rescuer took Dania immediately to the clinic. Once they arrived, Dania presented with a noticeable tremor in her rear leg. This is concerning because it can point to distemper, a most likely fatal virus.

Dania also has raw sores on her hind quarters. She is very malnourished and the sores come from her skinny body laying on the hard ground causing pressure sores.

Dania had to have been suffering in the streets of Peru with nobody ever helping. It was almost as if the streets of Peru became Dania's prison. If it wasn't for the local rescuer doing something, Dania would have perished in her "prison".

We have created this campaign to help raise the funds needed to save Dania and support Near and Far Animal Foundation which you can read here >> https://dogco.org/dania

We want to share an update with you on Dillon. Yesterday was an extremely critical day and we were in a race against time to save Dillion’s life. Dillon was found is such deplorable condition, Second Chance Rescue NYC Dogs was unsure if he was going to make it. Thankfully, Dillon did make it through the night.

He is in serious but stable condition. He is unable to hold his own glucose levels, so they have him on a dextrose drip. His blood pressure drops dangerously low, so they have him on pressers. They conclude this is most likely from sepsis and the doctors are aggressively fighting the infection with IV antibiotics.

In addition to all of this, Dillon has a hiatal hernia, his little body is very starved, and what has been extremely concerning from the beginning is how stiff Dillon’s body is. I have his full report here https://dogco.org/dillion

Rescuers at Second Chance Rescue are absolutely horrified by this poor baby’s condition. To stand by and allow this poor puppy to suffer and wither away and dispose of him on the side of the road like garbage is the work of a monster. Read my full report here https://dogco.org/dillion
