Have you seen that device on the wall in most derm offices and wondered what it is? 👀

It’s a handy device called a hyfrecator that helps us stop bleeding when necessary and also cosmetically treat different types of little benign bumps on the skin that can be bothersome.

Not recommended to be used for people with implanted pacemakers or defibrillators. But otherwise safe to use, and can be used in all skin types (though there is a risk of leaving behind a dark mark in darker skin tones)
