We asked the residents if they'd be down for a haunted house and got a bunch of enthusiastic yeses and some hesitant maybes. We turned the activity room into a spooky spectacle and they had an absolute blast. They were laughing so hard they were crying and screaming like a bunch of lunatics. I'd say this one's going down in the history books. Big thanks to the staff for helping make this day a real scream for our residents.

Wow, what a night we had getting to see all the little superheroes, goblins, monsters, princesses, and more. The residents absolutely loved passing out candy. Thank you, community, for making our first-ever community trick-or-treat a hit.

The Meadows front office will close today at 12 PM in observance of the visitation and funeral for Mrs. Nancy W. Holland. We will reopen on Monday, October 27, at 8 AM. Please keep the Holland family in your prayers during this difficult time. Mrs Nancy will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Holland has always been one of our guiding lights and has celebrated every triumph in our activities for our residents. We embarked on our first-ever hayride, at The Meadows' history, and we know she would be beaming with pride and admiration for its resounding success. She reveled in witnessing their joy, and it filled her heart with an immense sense of purpose knowing the profound impact it had on their daily lives. Her legacy will live on, and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

Perfect weather to end the week with our yearly tailgating party. Residents loved spending the morning with Mooreville Varsity cheerleaders. They loved watching the cheering and dancing, but mostly the interaction. Thanks to the Fulton Police and Itawamba County Sheriff’s department for visiting. Thank you to all the staff and administrators for making this day a great day.
