Come Celebrate at the Labor Day Parade – September 6th in Jefferson City!

Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends – the annual Labor Day Parade is just around the corner, and you won’t want to miss it!

Join us on Saturday, September 6th as we come together to honor the hard work and dedication of Union workers in our community. The parade kicks off at 11:00 AM and will feature colorful floats, local organizations, marching bands, and plenty of Union Pride.

But the celebration doesn't stop there!

Right after the parade, head over to the Sellinger Exhibit Hall for a festive gathering filled with hot dogs, soda, chips, and ice cream – all free and open to the public! It's a great chance to enjoy some classic treats with the whole family.

Smart Local 36 Central Missouri is looking to add multiple Sheet Metal Estimators to our team.

Prior experience in estimating is a plus but not required.
Estimator duties and skills include:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Web-enabled applications, and database software.
* Good understanding of contract plans and specifications.
* Ability to maintain attention to detail while completing various and repetitive tasks.
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret bid documents and blueprints.
* Ability to accurately tabulate ductwork and equipment quantities from drawings and suppliers.
* Ability to determine scope of work and required content of a complete estimate.
* Effective communication to collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients.
