She is feminine.
She is strong.
She is soft.
She is divine.

And when women gather in one space… something powerful happens.

Some come to lift.
Some come to flow.
Some come to breathe, stretch, and reconnect.

Strength and softness living side by side.

This is women showing up sweaty, grounded, powerful, and unapologetically themselves.

No competition.
No comparison.

Just women moving, growing, and reminding each other how powerful it is to be fully in our bodies.

Different stories.
Different journeys.
Different expressions of strength.

One electric room full of women rising together.

To the women who call this place home — you are the heartbeat of this space.💗

And if you’ve ever felt the pull to be in a room like this…
trust that feeling. ✨

We built this space for YOU. Happy International Women’s Day 😘

I used to think yoga was something you achieved.

15 years ago, if you walked into my class, we would have moved fast.
Sweat on the mat.
Big transitions.
Ambitious shapes.
Always reaching for the next edge.

I thought the deepest practice was the one that impressed people.
The one that made them say, “Wow.”

But somewhere along the way, the practice started working on me.

Not my hamstrings.
Not my handstand.
Me.

It began whispering questions I didn’t want to answer.
What are you chasing?
Who are you trying to prove something to?
What would happen if you stopped performing?

And slowly — not dramatically, not all at once —
I softened.

The pauses got longer.
The breath got louder.
The need to be the most innovative, the most intense, the most anything… got quieter.

Yoga stopped being about how far I could go
and became about how honestly I could stay.

Fifteen years in, the practice looks simpler from the outside.
But it feels deeper on the inside.

Now when we move together, it’s not about the flash of the posture.
It’s about the steadiness underneath it.
The permission to do less.
The reminder that peace isn’t earned — it’s uncovered.

Yoga didn’t make me more extreme.
It brought me home.

And I’m curious —
how has your practice changed you?

Are you softer? Stronger? Slower? Braver?

Tell me a word that describes your evolution. I’d love to hear your story. 🤍

I teach breathwork for a living.

And some days this is the most honest pranayama I’ve got.

Let’s be real —
“inhale peace, exhale love” isn’t always cutting it lately.

Sometimes it’s:

Inhale: oh Jesus Christ
Exhale: for fck’s sake.*

And somehow… that still counts.

We are living in complicated times.
There’s a lot to hold. A lot to process. A lot that feels out of our control.

We are allowed to feel overwhelmed.
We are allowed to be frustrated.
We are allowed to say “what the actual hell” and still want peace.

Breathing doesn’t require pretending everything is fine.
It just requires… breathing.

Humor is a nervous system strategy.
Naming what feels overwhelming is regulating.
A deep sigh (even with a little profanity) is still regulation.

And your breath?
Still yours.

If this made you laugh, your nervous system probably needed it.

Come move with us this week. We’ll strengthen your core — and your capacity to stay steady in a world that feels anything but.

There’s something powerful about lifting more than just weights.

In a world that can feel heavy, walking into a room full of energy, high-fives, laughter, and people pushing through together hits different. 💛

Science backs it up — working out in groups has been shown to lower stress and symptoms of depression more than training solo. But honestly? You feel it the second you step in. The encouragement. The accountability. The “you’ve got this” when your legs are shaking.

Strength training isn’t just about building muscle. It’s about building resilience. Confidence. Community. It’s about showing up on the hard days and leaving lighter than you came.

If you’ve been craving connection, positive energy, motivation, and a place where you’re seen and supported… this is it. This is your sign to stop doing it alone.

Come lift with us. Come grow with us. Come feel what strong together really means.

This weekend, Bri and I poured our whole heart into hosting our yoga & sound retreat — every conversation, every practice, every little detail.

My heart is so full… and my body is officially in hibernation mode.

Building something meaningful in your community is beautiful, fulfilling, and sometimes completely exhausting in the best way. Rest is part of the offering too.

If you’ve ever given your all to something you love and then needed a full reset afterward… this is your reminder that it’s allowed. 🤍

STEAL THIS WORKOUT 💪🔥
and save it for your next lift ✔️

These exercises are a staple in the studio because they builds real, usable strength — especially for women in perimenopause and menopause.

✨ Why this matters in midlife:
• Supports muscle maintenance as hormones shift
• Helps protect bone density
• Improves metabolism + everyday function
• Trains strength for longevity, not burnout

At our menopause-informed strength training studio, we don’t chase exhaustion.
We lift with intention, prioritize recovery, and train in a way that works with your hormones — not against them.

If you’re ready to feel strong, capable, and confident in your body again,
comment STRONG to get started 🤍

This is your gentle last call ✨

If you’ve been:
• tired in a way rest hasn’t touched
• holding it together for everyone else
• craving quiet but unsure how to get there

Rest Fest was made for this exact season.

This isn’t a retreat to fix yourself.
It’s a weekend to soften.
To rest in a private room.
To soak, float, breathe, and exhale.

No schedules to manage.
No decisions to make.
Nothing expected of you.

If you’ve been saving the posts, opening the emails, feeling the nudge… this is your sign. 💛
Very few spaces left. Registration closes soon.

✨ February 6–7 | Turf Valley Resort
✨ Comment Staycation and I’ll send you the details

PS: If part of you says “I should do this” and another part says “but…” — that’s usually when rest is needed most.

This is why we strength train after 40.
Not just to lift heavy in the gym—but to live strong in real life.

We train for snow days.
For shoveling the driveway.
For carrying groceries.
For moving through our days without aches, pains, or fear of injury.

The gym is the practice.
Life is the payoff.
And honestly? That’s the real flex. 💪❄️

👉 What’s one everyday task that feels easier in your body now that you train?

It’s Time for SHIFT

What nourishes your soul? For us, connection and rest are vital for renewal and nothing fills us up more than a good belly laugh with loved ones or a greats night sleep. The older we get and the more our journey unfolds, the more we believe that these moments of heart felt connection and fulfilling moments of rejuvenating rest are what awakens and inspires our soul. So we have created a sanctuary in the heart of Howard County, MD for authentic connection and meaningful rest.

We are a home for deep release and nourishment. With an emphasis on self care and spiritual wellbeing, our classes foster the tools for a profound awakening of the heart. Come get shifted.
