We are pleased to announce our 2026 Employee of the Year!

Brandy Coffelt is the NFC Program Operations Coordinator. Brandy is always willing to help anyone who asks. She has made the swap shop and client storage areas more user friendly for our clients. If she is asked a question, she normally has the correct answer or knows where to retrieve the information. I know she has dedicated 20+ years to FSH and has worn many hats during her career. She uses those past job experiences to help better FSH daily. We truly appreciate all she does to help keep NFC on track. She is always willing to share her knowledge when needed. It is so nice to have someone you can go to, to get help when you don’t know where else to turn. I have also noticed that she always greets everyone and knows so many staff. Brandy, please keep that contagious attitude and smile! We need more people like you who make FSH a place people want to work at.

We are so pleased to announce our April 2026 employee of the month! Nate Williamson mailman for Fulton State Hospital is a true asset to Fulton State Hospital and deserving to be awarded as an employee of the month. Nate has worked at hospital for ten years in all previously working as an FRS2 and currently working as mailman for two and a half years. Nate consistently demonstrates reliability in his role as mailman, often having to triumph dreaded weather conditions. What sets him apart from others is his willingness to help anyone who needs a hand, no matter the task, no matter the department. You can often find him chatting it up as he knows no stranger. While he is always dependable, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile. His contributions not only to improve our daily operations but also create a diverse atmosphere is always noticed. Nate deserves this recognition and appreciation for being a dedicated employee to the hospital.

We are so pleased to announce our March 2026 employee of the month! Jennifer Drinkard is an amazing asset to FSH. Although she works in SLP, Jennifer is all over this building helping where she can with her 25 years of experience. She works her tail off multitasking and going above and beyond with her main job as the SLP Program Assistant and the ERC President. She has the utmost respect for her coworkers and the FSH. She encourages everyone around her to do their best and does what she can to help them succeed. Jennifer is one of the most compassionate and giving co-workers you will ever work with. She truly cares for everyone. She is a very valued employee at FSH and is an excellent candidate for EOM and deserves this honor.

We are so pleased to announce our February 2026 employee of the month! Congratulations to Stephen Grohs, EVS-D Building

Stephen Grohs is always welcoming and respectful to all new and existing employee's and extremely helpful to Staff Development. Stephen goes above and beyond with all his job duties. He is assigned to the D Building, we as Staff Development have never seen the D Building as clean and as well-kept has it has been since Stephen has been assigned over there. He is always the first one to come and let us know if he is working on a project or ask if there is anything else he can do to make the D Building or our jobs easier. Stephen is a great example of an outstanding employee and someone who doesn't have direct supervision everyday but still is going above and beyond and does all his tasks plus anything asked of him. We as Staff Development think that Stephen is a great nominee for Employee of the Month due to him being an exemptional employee and someone who makes our jobs easier every day we are over in the D Building, he is also a great example of how two different departments that work together have great communication and respect for the other. Thank you for everything you do Stephen to make the building a great reflection of your department and for being a wonderful employee and someone FSH should be extremely proud of.

Fulton State Hospital's Disaster-Hazardous Weather Policy, EM.02.01. is being implemented beginning at 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, through 6:45 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026. Please take a look at the policy and discuss any questions you may have with supervisors on duty. This notice will also be posted on the Disaster-Hazardous Weather phone line, 573-592-3311. A new announcement will be made if this implementation needs to last beyond 6:45 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Please check road conditions on the MoDOT website if you are planning to travel.
