Iâm not here to tell an âIâve arrivedâ story.
Iâm here to tell the truth.
There was a season where I was on bed rest with a torn L5S1 disc and bilateral sciatica. I was scared, in pain, depressed, dismissed, and stuck in a toxic relationship. I was handed medications and told that was my option.
But deep down, I knew that wasnât real care.
That was symptom suppression.
Later, while in chiropractic school, deeper testing revealed what standard care had missed: hypothyroidism, mold toxicity, hormone imbalance, gut dysfunction, and allergies.
Thatâs when I learned something I will never forget:
Normal labs do not always mean optimal health.
And I did not sit back and do nothing.
I tried all the things women are told will help â detoxes, hormone replacement, supplements, IV nutrition, ozone therapy â and I still knew there were deeper answers I hadnât been given.
Then life hit harder.
Burnout.
Business pressure.
Divorce.
Multiple moves.
Parenting through real challenges.
Loss.
Exhaustion.
Questioning everything.
Two days before my 45th birthday, I had no new patients on my schedule and was applying for jobs.
But instead of walking away, I rebuilt differently.
Today, I believe this with my whole heart:
Burnout is not weakness. Itâs physiology.
Women are dismissed too quickly.
And high-achieving women do not need more pressure to push harder.
They need the right support, the right strategy, and a body that can actually keep up with the life theyâre leading.
Iâm sharing this journey because I know Iâm not the only one who has been told âeverything looks normalâ while feeling anything but normal.
