We wanted to share a fascinating report from The Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health (2018) that reviewed existing literature on chiropractic care for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

Here’s what they found…
-a Consistent Observation: The 11 reviewed studies, involving over 200 children with ASD, all reported a variety of positive results documented through the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC) when receiving chiropractic adjustments or subluxations.
-the Upper Cervical Link: Much of the research specifically focused on the importance of correcting subluxations in the upper cervical area (the very top bone of the spine), which is critical for neurological function.

I love to workout! This is me at the Hyrox in Boston this September. Regular chiropractic care keeps us in our best shape so we can do the things we love. After sharing with my patient about the race, she was inspired. Here’s what she told me…

“My friend and I completed the Camp Gladiator outdoor challenge in Oct 2021. It was very similar to what you just did in Boston, except smaller amounts of running. She is my workout partner and unfortunately we are both at this age and season in our life where womanhood is wearing heavy on us (in many ways). BUT….after hearing from you about your weekend and event and how bad my back hurts, I reached out to her and said “hey, why don’t we find something to sign up for that we can train together and get our butts back into loving fitness again!” So, we are going to do just that. So thank you, Dr.David! You never know what encouragement and inspiration you are sharing to help others and today I wanted to share that with you. You are more than a chiropractor, you are a motivator too!!! :) Oh and we signed up for Raleigh girls MudRun in April. So we are both excited!!!
