An 8-week summer program designed to prepare children for the new experiences that preschool will offer in a fun, supportive way.

This group is open to 2 & 3 year old children who will be entering preschool in the fall and will run from 9:30-11:00 twice a week.

We had a wonderful first collaborative Family Happy Hour this month with our special guests from Soulcare Therapy and Assessments! While the kids played, caregivers had the opportunity to learn about strategies for managing anxiety in kids.

🌟Take-home tip: “Name It to Tame It!” 🌟
Give anxiety a name or character (e.g. “The Worry Monster”, “False Alarm Brain”). This creates psychological distance from the anxious thoughts. Anxiety is not you- it is something happening to you! You can say, “That sounds like your worry brain talking. Let’s check if this is a real danger or a false alarm.”

We will be operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow (planning to open for patients at 11:00 instead of 9:00) due to potential icy road conditions. If conditions remain unsafe as the day goes on, we will reach out directly to families that may be scheduled to cancel.

If you have an appointment scheduled before 11:00, your therapist will be in touch to reschedule. If you have an appointment scheduled after 11:00, but prefer to change it, please let us know.

Bring your children to play in our gym space, enjoy some light family-friendly refreshments, and learn some tips and resources for helping to manage your child's anxiety. As we get ready to enter November and the season of Thanksgiving, Bloom OT and Wellness is beyond thankful to this community and those that have supported our small business over the past couple of years.

Community is so important to us and with so many people in a season of struggle, we want to give back. We are sponsoring 10 Thanksgiving meals for families that can’t afford them.

It's hard to believe another school year is almost here. As part of our commitment to giving back to the community we serve, we are once again opening our Back to School Giveaway.
