And what a lot of people may not realize is that a good majority of the people who are running today are our patients and guests,” said Fenimore. “They are either going through active cancer treatment or have in the past. They are either running for themselves, for somebody or in memory of someone. That’s what makes this race special.” said Keith Fenimore, who operates Kin with his wife, Kristina.

"Be Kind 5K" draws upwards of 60o participants, all to benefit the Kin Wellness and Support Center in Buckingham.

Here is what happens when nearly 600 people converge to celebrate our local cancer community.

Bucks County is a special place and yesterday Kin Wellness and Support Center was on the receiving end of the generosity from all who participated.

Standing on the shoulders of our event committee and over 40 volunteers who showed up to ensure a successful event. We were greeted with sun and smiles.

Everything was donated; the tents, the banners, the food, the water, the balloons, massages, porta potties...

Some people came in the midst of treatment to be uplifted and showcase their resilience, others came to support a loved one. Whether people ran their hearts out or walk and talked, the message was clear... no one walks along!

We will tally the funds raised and report back, for now, enjoy these amazing photos taken by Garrett Rosbach who donated his time to capture the event!

A heartfelt thank you to The Thompson Organization and Thompson Detail Center for the months of prep support from marketing to materials, signage, banners, design, video, wrapping the car, tent donation and install. Your hard work and support was instrumental in the events success!

And to all of our sponsors, we are grateful and hope that people support you the way you support the community through Kin!
