Almost 5 yrs ago, I was so determined to bring play therapy to WV, my home state. Not just talk about it- but DO it. Driving Ivy, the play therapy bus from Bama was a long trip immediately followed by a media blitz. I was nearing the end of my career and wanted to give my best to the kids in WV and their therapists. Met a whole community of great people who were willing to give traumatized children a voice in therapy and the courtroom. Still working on growing the numbers of Registered Play Therapists in the coalfields and beyond. So proud of all of you RPTs in WV. IVY is still being used in WV by Stephanie Casto, LICSW, RPT and she is doing a fantastic job. Let's keep it going forward WV!
