🌱The meaning behind our name

A 'scion' is a young cutting typically from a fruit tree that is grafted onto a hearty root stock. The young plant cutting relies on the established root stock for nutrients; and together, they bear much fruit.

Dr. Lee couldn’t think of a more apt description of joining his amazing team at the Gadsden Regional Cancer Center.

Dr. Lee joined the team at Gadsden Regional Cancer Center, which is full of a great number of caring and experienced team members.
Just as the young plant relies on the established root so did Dr. Lee on his team.

Dr. Lee and his team look forward to being a 'scion' for our community, bearing much fruit, the fruit of leading patients towards healing.
