We are so excited to formally announce Dr. Mamdouh Khayat as the “Director of Embolic Therapy” at Vive Vascular!

In addition to treating peripheral artery disease, he has extensive experience in the minimally-invasive treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), osteoarthritis, women’s health issues, such as uterine fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome, as well as internal hemorrhoids.

What is embolic therapy?

Embolic therapy, also known as embolization, is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to reduce or block blood flow to a specific part of the body. Embolic therapy is minimally invasive, has a shorter recovery time than open surgery, and can be used when surgery is too risky. It has many applications and can treat enlarged prostates or BPH, osteoarthritis, bleeding internal hemorrhoids, uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion syndrome, and varicoceles.

Meet Kenny! First to be introduced in our employee spotlight, he’s been with Vive Vascular since we opened our doors in 2020 and is an important part of our family.

A sonographer by trade, Kenny is also our ultrasound operations coordinator. Secretly though, he’s also our in-house handyman and can practically fix anything with his set of tools 🤫. In his spare time, he loves to golf and spend quality time with his lovely family.

We’re packing and moving! It’s officially our last day at our Reynoldsburg office 😢

Starting next week, we’ll be at our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Gahanna!
