"For 18 years, I was trapped in the grip of addiction, drifting from one couch to another, even sleeping in my car for over a year. I was chasing a numbness that never lasted. Survival became my only goal, and even that felt like a losing battle. For 8 of those years I endured an abusive relationship that nearly took my life- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My parents had died, my kids were taken and I had nothing to lose. That mindset kept me running back to drugs and my arrest record looked like a phone book. The pain was constant., but God sat me down one last time in jail and something clicked. I wanted to live. I came to Maranatha where I was shown the love I was desperately seeking. I came to know God and develop a relationship with him and learn who I was and who he meant for me to be. I am now 4 years sober and thriving!"

Since its inception in 2010, Maranatha has helped scores of women break the chains of addiction and become contributing members of society.
We pray that we can be a place of Hope for women in a world where the statistics are stacked against addicts.

To date, we currently hold a 54% success rate.

Now, we want to be clear.. that sucess rate isn't based on how many women have graduated the program..

It's the percentage of GRADUATES that are still clean, sober and leading productive lives!

While at Marantha, women not only acquire tools to stay sober, but learn life skills that will help them navigate a life addiction free, and we never charge tuition or program fees. All services are offered free of charge.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵, 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱.

Jesus said they would know His disciples by their love, and in Momma Niki, that truth was not merely spoken, it was lived. Her life became a sermon, not confined to words, but poured out daily as an offering in the hands of the Master.

That sermon echoed into the darkest places. Through compassion, through sacrifice, through a steady and unrelenting reach into the shadows, she drew others toward the light.

Many of us stand where we are today because she chose to love when it was costly, to give when it was hard, and to see worth where others could not.

In prayer, she placed her fingerprint on our lives in such a way that hell itself took notice. There was a covering, a boldness, a mother’s intercession that declared, “If you touch this one, you will answer to the hand of the Lord.” She was, and remains, a mother to many.

One week ago, Momma Niki stepped into eternity with papa Jon in the presence of Jesus. Together, they now stand whole in the presence of the Lord. What was once their faith has now become sight.

On May 8th, 2026, we will gather to honor this precious life, one that showed us what it means to live well by loving well. In her own time preparing, she told us she wants us all to wear our UT orange.

Congratulations, momma Niki. You finished your race well. We love you.

Blessed are the pure in heart. FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD.
