We offer a Master of Acupuncture, a Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine, and year-round continuing education for licensed acupuncturists. Academy for Five Element Acupuncture offers a highly distinctive curriculum with a specific focus on the Five Element tradition. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Five Elements and traditional Taoism, our curriculum teaches students to see people not only as they present themselves in illness, but more importantly as they would be when in health and balance. We love shining a light on the incredible students who make our community so special. Today, we’re excited to spotlight one of our interns Abby and share what draws them to Five Element Acupuncture 💛

“I love that Five Element acupuncture looks at someone holistically in body, mind, and spirit—focusing on seeing someone in health as opposed to their symptoms. I think this allows for incredibly dynamic and deep healing and support.”

Their journey into acupuncture began early, inspired by family and lived experience:

“My mom is a Five Element acupuncturist, and I was always fascinated by it as a kid. I loved when she came home from work smelling like moxa, hearing her talk about the elements, and visiting her office. I grew up seeing the profound impact of this medicine on others and myself, and I knew I wanted to pursue acupuncture as a career someday.”

We are so grateful to support the next generation of practitioners who are carrying this medicine forward with such heart and intention 🌿
