Yesterday at Harper’s Station, we had an incredible time during our Jamaican Recipe Showcase with Chef Stephanie! 🇯🇲✨

Residents enjoyed a delicious and interactive demo featuring some classic Jamaican dishes, including jerk chicken, Jamaican fried dumplings, and rice and beans, beautifully shared by our very own Miriam, Care Coordinator. It was such a special touch to have her bring these traditional flavors and cultural insight to life!

We also sprinkled in some fun with a little karaoke featuring the iconic Bob Marley and our residents did not disappoint! 🎤🎶

Between the amazing food, lively music, and learning interesting facts about Jamaica, it was truly a joyful and enriching experience for everyone involved. Thank you to Chef Stephanie and Miriam for making this event so memorable! ❤️

This past Saturday, we had the joy of hosting a beautiful Easter luncheon with our residents and their families 🐣💐

The day was filled with laughter, love, and wonderful memories as everyone gathered to enjoy delicious food, refreshing mimosas, and each other’s company. A special highlight was a visit from the Easter Bunny, who brought smiles to faces of all ages! 🐰

Moments like these remind us how special our community truly is, bringing families together and creating lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so meaningful! 💛

We’re excited to share this week’s delicious menu at Harper’s Station! 🍽️✨
Sunday, March 29th through Saturday, April 4th

Our residents are in for a treat with a variety of comforting favorites and flavorful dishes all week long. From hearty breakfasts like pancakes, breakfast tacos, and made-to-order eggs, to satisfying lunches featuring chicken gumbo, pastrami sandwiches, and southwest shrimp salad, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Dinner highlights include classics like herb roasted chicken, BBQ beef brisket, teriyaki chicken, lemon rosemary salmon, and even grilled beef tenderloin. And of course, we can’t forget the desserts… apple pie, blueberry pie, strawberry shortcake, chocolate mousse cake, and more! 🍰

We love making mealtime something our residents can look forward to each day, full of comfort, variety, and a whole lot of flavor ❤️

Bon appétit to a wonderful week ahead! 🥗🍴

Yesterday was an incredibly special day as we celebrated a milestone that not many get to experience.
🎂🎉Bette’s 100th birthday! 🎉🎂

Surrounded by friends, laughter, and so much love, Bette lit up the room with her beautiful smile and joyful spirit. A century of life brings with it countless memories, wisdom, and stories, and we feel so honored to have been part of such a remarkable celebration.

From singing happy birthday to sharing sweet treats, it was a day filled with happiness that we will all cherish. 💛

Happy 100th Birthday, Bette! Your life is truly an inspiration, and we are so grateful to celebrate you! 🥳✨

What a shamrockin’ good St. Patrick’s Day here at Harper’s Station! 🍀💚

We started the day with a special Irish sing-along led by some of our very own residents, filling the room with classic tunes and plenty of smiles as everyone joined in. 🎶

The celebration continued with a delicious St. Patrick’s Day dinner, followed by our “Bagpipes & Brews” happy hour featuring a wonderful performance by Eamonn that truly brought the spirit of the holiday to life!

In Memory Care, residents got creative making festive St. Patrick’s Day wreaths, and later, everyone came together for a happy hour after dinner, complete with green beer and the lively sounds of a bagpiper!

From music and crafts to great food and even better company, it was a day full of joy and community. We hope everyone had a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day, we certainly did here at Harper’s Station! ☘️

Yesterday was such a special day at our community! We were treated to a wonderful performance by a talented bagpiper who began by playing around the perimeter of the building, creating such a unique and exciting atmosphere for everyone. He then made his way inside to continue the celebration during our Bagpipes & Brews Happy Hour!

The residents absolutely loved the music, and it brought so much joy, energy, and smiles to the room. 🎶

Celebrating National Pie Day the best way we know how! 🥧💚 Our memory care residents had a wonderful time in the kitchen making key lime pie from scratch. From mixing the ingredients to spreading the filling and watching it come together, everyone had a part in the fun.

Of course, the best part was getting to enjoy the delicious pie afterward… and let’s just say it was a big hit. Yum! 😋 Moments like these are so special and filled with smiles, laughter, and sweet memories.

Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful outing to Manassas National Battlefield Park followed by a delicious lunch at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill!

Our residents had such a great time getting out, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and visiting the museum at the battlefield where we learned more about the history behind this important site. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the past while spending time together.

After exploring and learning, we headed to Firebirds where everyone enjoyed a tasty meal, lots of laughs, and great conversation. 🍽️

It was the perfect day for fresh air, history, good food, and even better company. Outings like these create such special memories! ❤️
