When you have experienced unkindness in this life, it is easy to generalize that expectation onto others.

Fortunately, according to the World Happiness Report 2025, people are actually much kinder than you might think: one clear example of this is that the return rate of lost wallets is twice as high as people expected.💡

When life gets you down, as it inevitably will, don’t forget that there is still good in this world. 🌎 So SMILE! That’s something really GOOD!

Anger is the part of you that lets you know you are not being treated well. Instead of judging it and yourself harshly, try approaching it with curiosity and a desire to understand it…to sit with it and learn from it?! There are healthy ways to express your anger!

😡 Vent in an audio clip in private
😡 Rock it out with your fav heavy metal song
😡 Do an intense workout
😡 Write it out and don’t hold back then rip it up and stomp on it and throw it away

You don’t have to be afraid of your anger! You are a human being and being angry is normal. Expression not repression! Curiosity not judgement!

Let me guess…this is the first time you’ve stopped to breathe today. 💭

If this is you, you’re not alone. So many of us rush through our days, never pausing to reset our fried nervous systems.

I want to invite you to stop what you’re doing for a moment and do a quick breathing exercise with me.

1️⃣ Place your right index finger on your right nostril to close it.
2️⃣ Take a deep breath in through your left nostril.
3️⃣ Close off your left nostril and breathe out through your right nostril.

This is a yoga practice called Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) that reduces stress. You can use this practice at home, at work, or anywhere to help you relax. 🌿

I would argue that every single one of us is brave.
