Touching Hearts at Home Gainesville Home Health Care - License # 299994604 Owners Ruben & Rose Ramos started Touching Hearts at Home after Rose’s mother, Rita, was diagnosed with dementia.

Touching Hearts at Home's mission is to provide experienced Home Health Care to adults and seniors to preserve their quality of life and remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. It was the first time the Ramos family had dealt with the declining health of a loved one. After two years of learning everything about the disease, medications, specialty doctors and how to provide proper care for her dementia, they realized they could help other families dealing with the same challenges. That’s when they started Touching Hearts at Home. We are so blessed to serve seniors and adults in our community for over ten (10) years with an exceptional staff and CareTeam with two offices - one in Gainesville and one in Lake City. We’re excited to share that the 9th Annual Gainesville Indoor Pickleball Showcase hosted by Gainesville Sports Commission and presented by Touching Hearts at Home Gainesville to benefit ElderCare of Alachua County is back at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center on August 8–9, 2026—and it’s all for a great cause! 🏓💜

This incredible event benefits ElderCare of Alachua County, helping us continue providing vital services that support older adults in our community with independence, dignity, and connection. It also supports Al'z Place and the Alachua County Senior Recreation Center through ElderCare.

💜As a 100% grant- and donation-funded organization, events like this truly make a difference. Every registration helps fuel meals, care, and essential services for older adults across Alachua County.
