Proclamation at Gainesville City Hall 📜🏛️

October is American Pharmacists Month, and our amazing student pharmacists, led by our very own VP of Policy-Elect Hannah Gray, showed out at Gainesville City Hall to receive a proclamation from the mayor recognizing the vital work pharmacists do every day! 💊✨

Last week, we had the honor of hosting Dr. Leslie Brown, RPh, President of the Alachua County Association of Pharmacists, Dr. Joy Wright, PharmD, Board Member of the Florida Pharmacy Association, and Ms. Stacy Hall, Executive Vice President and CEO of the Florida Pharmacy Association, at our October APhA-ASP General Body Meeting!

They led an inspiring conversation on the power of advocacy and why it’s so important to champion our profession at the local, state, and national levels, especially during American Pharmacist Month!

🎀 October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re so grateful to our Operation Reproductive Health Chairs for organizing a campus-wide Pink Out in honor of this important cause 💕
