On October 27, UF APhA-ASP was honored to welcome National APhA-ASP President Rachel Lucky for a day full of energized conversations and big ideas.

Legislative Day 2026 🏛️🐊

Last week, UF APhA-ASP’s Policy Team teamed up with UF SSHP, ACAP, and FPA to advocate alongside student and pharmacist leaders from across Florida. We met with state legislators to share what student pharmacists see on the ground and why these bills matter for our patients.

We highlighted pharmacy audit reform (SB 1256, HB 1209), practice advancement (SB 868), pharmacists supporting emergency response (HB 1021), and the Connecting to Care Act (SB 294, HB 407) to name a few!

A huge thanks to everyone who showed up (especially our students from the Orlando campus) and represented UF and our profession with excellence!💙🧡
