Today was filled with gratitude, good food, and meaningful moments together. Our Administrator, Robin, prepared a delicious home-cooked meal for the team, complete with roast, homemade mashed potatoes, and sweet treats to share.

At Avir at Gainesville, appreciation goes beyond words. It is shown through time, effort, and the care we pour into one another. Sharing a meal like this reminds us that we are more than coworkers; we are family.

Spring is in full bloom at Avir at Gainesville! 🌸🌿

In honor of National Tw***ie Day, we had so much fun with a Tw***ie Decorating Contest; congratulations to our winners, Kendra Phillips, Stacy Haverkamp, and Emily Nelms!

We also spent time planting around our beautiful new sign, adding even more life and color to our community. It’s moments like these that make our days brighter and our home even more special.

We had an amazing Easter egg hunt with more than 500 eggs, including 10 golden eggs, making it an exciting and memorable day for everyone. Our Easter party was full of fun, laughter, and special moments. 🥳🐣

Peter Cottontail even made a special appearance to take photos and bring extra smiles to our residents. 💛

Yesterday, Kevin from Hospice Plus led a Dementia Empathy Training for our staff to help them better understand what individuals living with dementia experience. Our HR Director, Justin, went through the full training.

Dementia is the fastest‑growing diagnosis among American seniors, and training like this helps prepare the hearts and minds of caregivers to provide better, more compassionate care. We are grateful for the knowledge and insight shared.
