From Ingrid Chabbert’s experiences and illustrated by Carole Maurel, the graphic novel “Waves” addresses the stigmatized topic of late term pregnancy loss. The visual switch from full color to monochrome in grief, with the slow reintroduction of color in healing is very moving.
