🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Your service protects the freedoms we hold dear every day. Thank you.
Today, we come together to observe World Mental Health Day, a vital reminder of the importance of mental well-being in our lives. This year, let's focus on raising awareness, reducing stigma, and advocating for mental health support for everyone, everywhere.
Why Mental Health Matters
Mental health is just as important as physical health. It affects how we think, feel, and act in our daily lives. It also influences how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Prioritizing mental health can lead to a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Happy National Brave Day, everyone! Today, we honor the courage and strength it takes to face life's challenges head-on. Whether it's overcoming personal fears, standing up for what's right, or simply being there for someone in need, bravery comes in many forms.
Decades later, the loss still resonates. We pay tribute to those who passed, the brave souls who faced unimaginable danger, and the loved ones who carry the sorrow.
Today reminds us of life’s fragility—and the power of unity.
We will always remember.

The Story of Lamai Jumpaburi Coyle's Big Brown Feet.
How a Thai Village girl succeeds by staying true to who she is.
I was born in a small dusty agricultural village in Prachinburi, Thailand. The land is very fertile and produces a wide variety of crops. My family are hard working farmers, where at a young age, I learned how to put in a honest hard day's work.
Growing up, I had no shoes and went around in barefoot and flip flops. The mud from my village made it impractical to wear shoes, as they would be covered with dirt within minutes. As a young girl I dreamed of wearing pretty dresses and shoes like beautiful high society ladies in Bangkok.
Years of working barefoot on the farm, my toes spread out and fattened like my mother & fathers. The sun scorched my skin to a dark brown color. In Asian culture, light skin and small feet are seen as objects of beauty. The women of the village would gossip about me, “Look at Lamai, she is pretty, …but look at those feet. What kind of a man would want to marry her with those big brown feet?'‘ For years, I was ashamed of my ugly big fat brown farmer’s feet, as they were instant giveaway to my peasant past.
My grandfather was a Traditional Thai Medical Practitioner (TTM) who practiced in our village. He had vast knowledge of medicinal plants that could cure disease. He taught us a classical style of Thai Massage originating from our home village used to relieve sore muscles for common folk working on a farm. His skills of Traditional Thai Medicine (TTM) + Traditional Thai Massage have become my passion and my life's work.
My dream is to bring authentic Traditional Thai Massage to USA. Today, my big brown feet are used to relieve chronic / accuate pain and improve physical and mental well-being for my clients. If you sit in our waiting area, you will feel the good karma and hear countless stories from thankful clients they have been rejuvenated.
I am no longer ashamed of my big brown feet. I am a positive role model for minority women that it is possible to succeed in business by doing good, helping others, being honest and staying true to who you are.
My grandfather passed away before Champaka Thai Massage & Spa was opened. My wish is that he could see the skills passed down to me have traveled the world to heal people. If he were alive today, he would be proud of me,……and my big brown feet.
Come to Champaka Thai Massage & Spa and you will experience authentic Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Ashiatsu (walk on back) therapy.
