University of Florida Model United Nations This is the official page of the University of Florida Gators Model United Nations Team. Feel free to explore and ask questions! via Zoom every Wednesday.

UF Model UN travels throughout Florida and the country. Our club competes at conferences where we simulate and debate international issues as if they were actual United Nations sessions. UF MUN also does a great deal of work to raise awareness for our club in Gainesville community with various events and fundraisers. As advocates for Model United Nations, our cub promotes and builds Model UN programs in high schools by hosting a high school model UN conference called Gator Model United Nations. (www.gatormun.org) We also host a college level conference called the Florida Crisis Simulation. (www.floridacrisissimulation.org)

Over the past few years, the UF MUN team has grown to be very active on campus and on the national MUN circuit. Our team is ranked both competitively and for the conferences put on by our organization each year. Our weekly meetings are held in Fall and Spring semesters at 7:00 p.m. in the Reitz Union and at 8:30 p.m. However, you can get involved at any time by joining our group on Facebook under "UF Model United Nations."

Hello everyone! I know that a lot of our members have had very fun and educational summers and I’d like to give everyone a chance to share what they got up to with the rest of the club!
