Once a year, our Director, Emily Marchi, creates a reflection to offer thanks to our volunteers, our patients, our team at UF Health, and the individuals in the community that make Streetlight possible. We celebrated Bailey’s bone marrow transplant journey with bookmarks, bejeweling, and books! After spending countless hours reading and yapping in the hospital, Bailey can now go back home cancer-free with memories of her UF Health family and new additions to her library donated by The Lynx Books!

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of 16-year-old Zanaa Queen, a remarkable young woman whose courage and creativity touched everyone at the Ronald McDonald House.

Just days before her passing, Zanaa’s greatest wish came true: her book, Three Short Stories, was published. This beautiful accomplishment stands as a lasting tribute to her strength, imagination, and resilience.
