Human BioSciences (HBS) Inc. is a specialty biotechnology company focused on developing collagen in wound care management. HBS is an integral worldwide developer, manufacturer, and distributor of advanced wound care products, including collagen sheets, particles and gels popularly known as SkinTemp™ II Dressings, Medifil™ II Particles and Collatek™ Gel for Human Use. Kollavet™ Products include collage sheets, particles and gel for veterinary use. The headquarters and main production facility is located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. They also have one factory in Ahmedabad, India. It is FDA-compliant and ISO 13485 certified. HBS products are approved to manage burns, scrapes, sores, ulcers, acute and chronic wounds from superficial to deep injuries. Easy application and product compatibility with topical agents and dressings allow product use in a myriad of applications. Human products are currently available with a prescription in clinics, healthcare facilities, and doctor's offices. OTC product line available on Amazon for Animal Use and coming soon for humans. Our proprietary products contain Type 1 fibrillar bovine (cattle) derived native collagen including less than 5% water. This proprietary blend sets Human Biosciences’ apart from other collagen dressing technologies making it most analogous to human collagen. Collagen in its purest form binds and inactivates excessive MMPs, thus stimulating wounds through the healing trajectory.

Human Biosciences’ products are easy to use and are applied directly to the wound, thus delivering the body's one common denominator in healing – properly configured collagen. This eliminates the need for products dependent on wound stage, wound depth, or chemical growth factors. We offer various formulations of collagen including particles, sheets, and gel. Our quality products can be used on superficial, partial, and full-thickness wounds of all etiologies, excluding third-degree burns.
