Seasonal Affective Disorder, or more frequently referred to as Seasonal Depression, is a type of depression that occurs in the wintertime as sunlight hours decrease.
Many people experience fluctuations in emotions in the winter. Although this does not necessarily mean that you have seasonal depression, it is certainly a common feeling. Here are some ways to combat the seasonal lows that you may experience!
Some people find that creating structure in their schedule during the winter allows for better regulation of emotions. It can help avoid periods of boredom or isolation.
Try out creative ways of getting yourself moving! Participate in dancing workout videos, sign up for a stretch session at a nearby gym, or do some indoor rock climbing.
