I am honored to be the Audiologist for this 106-year-old inspiration!
"Dr. Andrea Liacouras assessed my 106-year-old grandmother for hearing aids after she had been refusing to wear older hearing aids over the past ten years. Dr. Liacouras was phenomenal in working with my grandmother, who suffers from some dementia. From the introduction and explanation of the process to the hearing test to the hearing aid fitting, it was a positive and enjoyable experience for both my grandmother and me. Dr. Liacouras is clearly knowledgeable and highly experienced, personable, warm and patient. My grandmother no longer refuses to wear hearing aids, is much more talkative and cognizant and has been venturing to some activities in her memory care unit. We no longer have to speak so loudly and close to her face, which makes for much better communication and more pleasant interactions overall. We would highly recommend Dr. Liacouras without hesitation!"
