Today we headed downtown for the Veteran’s Parade. The weather was perfect and we loaded up all of the children with candy.

Today we celebrated Wellness Wednesday with a few of our men throwing axes. Physically movement is so important but it is much easier when you are having fun.

Halloween fun. This year we went with Dr. Seuss. We had so much fun and our Elders had a blast.

We had a wonderful time "at the races". Gentiva Hospice brought the races to us. We rolled the dice, took a chance on our horse and "Pinky" came out on top. Social Wellness is an important part of our days. We love to get together with others and make memories.

This weeks wellness win is Vera. Vera is a retired school teacher. We just love when she shares her talent for playing piano with us! It brings comfort and joy to the residents and staff. Hearing her play stimulates memories and creates a sense of community and connection to those who listen. Well done Vera!!
