First time? Don't be intimidated, ask for modifications! When doing plank, did you know that you can do it on your knees as well? Maybe we can make a modification for you by doing this while standing at a counter if you have shoulder issues. Have you been doing this for years already? Try doing this with your feet or hands (or both) on a ball or Bosu or with TRX.
