🌿 Natural Self-Care Tips

Here are 5 natural self-care tips to help you feel your best!

1. Breathwork - Deep belly breathing nourishes the Lung Qi, clears stagnation, and reduces anxiety.

2. Gentle Movement - Walking, tai chi, or qigong to harmonize energy flow.

3. Release Rituals - Journaling or symbolic letting-go practices in alignment with the
season.

4. Restorative Sleep - Align sleep with earlier sunsets, supporting Yin energy.

5. Moisturize - Autumn dryness can irritate lungs and skin; use sesame oil self-massage
(abhyanga style).

🍁 How to Align with the Metal Season

Autumn invites us to release, reflect, and renew—just like the trees letting go of their leaves. Here's how to flow with the energy of this season:

1. 🌬 Breathe Consciously
Start your day with 5–10 deep breaths. Inhale clarity, exhale tension.

2. 🧹 Declutter & Simplify
Clear your space—physically and emotionally. Let go of what no longer serves.

3. 😌 Honor Grief & Practice Release
Autumn stirs deep feelings. Journal, meditate, or create a simple ritual to let them move through you.

4. 🥣 Nourish Seasonally
Think moistening, warming foods: pears, squash, congee, ginger, astragalus, jujube.

5. ✨ Acupressure Rituals
LU 1 🌬 – Open the chest, release sadness
LI 4 👐 – Let go, support immunity
ST 36 💪 – Ground & strengthen Qi

6. 🙏 Practice Gratitude
Reflect on what you're grateful for… gratitude nourishes the lungs and uplifts the spirit!
This is the season of clarity, letting go, and sacred stillness!

Did you know? ♻️

The large intestine isn’t just about physical detox. Spiritually, it’s the master of letting go.
While the lungs receive, the large intestine helps us release: old emotions, limiting beliefs, and anything that no longer serves the soul.

🧘♀️ Virtue: Clarity, discernment, the wisdom to release

🕸 Shadow: Stagnation, resentment, fear of letting go

💭 Spiritual Lesson: True freedom comes when we release what no longer nourishes us.
