Wow! 9 babies in 14 days and I am left in awe after every one! First time parents, VBAC’s, a precipitous birth and some prolonged ones. Boys and girls, big babies and small babies. Each family with a new beginning, a new story to tell and to cherish. I am so honored to witness it all and to hold their stories in my heart forever.

To many these are just a bunch of numbers to look at and mull over but to me this is a year of heart work. Building relationships with not only mothers and fathers but also siblings, grand parents, aunts and uncles and so many more. These 56 families are precious to me and I am honored to know each and every one of them.

This is actually really good advice from an l&d nurse. Also get a good doula! We have some really great local doulas!
