Shout out to Brad Schwartz, Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager, for working with an Ohio-based software company to develop an app called PALS Copilot! We use it at Avita during pediatric codes / medical emergencies to help doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and EMTs with accurate medication dosing, equipment sizes, and more. Recently, Brad presented the app to the Medication Safety Officer Society. We are grateful to Brad and our pharmacy team for all the work that they do to prevent medication errors and improve patient safety!
