The 2026 Holzer Science Awards were held this past Tuesday at the Holzer Leadership and Innovation Institute, bringing together some of the region’s most accomplished high school seniors. Each participating school selected one student whose dedication and achievement in science truly stood out. The evening was a celebration of curiosity, hard work, and the bright futures ahead for these exceptional students. Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees on their remarkable accomplishment.

Holzer Assisted Living is hosting a golf scramble on Saturday June 20th at Franklin Valley Golf Course! Join us for a great day out on the course, all proceeds to benefit Holzer Assisted Living facilities.

Payment can be made by cash or check and dropped off at the Assisted Living facilities. Or checks can be mailed to PO Box 624 Jackson, OH 45640, payable to the Holzer Heritage Foundation.

Holzer was proud to work with the OUHCOM Sports Medicine Club to support the Athens Marathon this past weekend, helping care for over 1,000 runners as they took on the course!

The dedicated team included Dr. Margaret Lionberger, Dr. Daniel Black, 20 Pre-PT students, 1 DPT student, 2 DPT/PhD students, and more than 20 Sports Medicine students. all working together to keep participants safe and supported throughout the event!
