Trick-or-Treat has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

We had a good turnout early this morning for our quarterly “networking event” Thanks to Devin and the staff of Twinkleberries for playing host. We heard from our members some of the great things going on in Gallia County. This is one of the many “free” benefits that chamber members can take advantage of. Today is National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day!! 🥳It is observed annually on the third Wednesday of October. This day is dedicated to recognizing the valuable contributions that local chambers of commerce make to communities across the country. The Chamber of Commerce has been happy to assist the Mayor Partnership of SE Ohio is getting a tree planted in our city park in memory of former City Manager Dow Saunders. He was such an active member of this partnership, thanks to Code Enforcement Officer Brett Bostic, our City Manager John Westfall, the President of the City Commission Mike Fulks and Amista Lepot from the Mayors Partnership group. Also thanks to Stapleton Landscaping for ensuring that the tree got proper care.

Ohio Hauntings: Stories from Haunted Ohio Places with Jim Kleefeld

On Friday, October 17 at 6:00 PM join Jim Kleefeld as he relates stories and legends of ghostly investigations and haunted happenings in Ohio.

Jim will tell tales like the Boy Who Loved Checkers, The Four Civil War Brothers and more.

Jim will have a selection of his personal collection of ghostly and unusual artifacts and strange antiques for viewing.

This event is free and open to all.
