Quiet moms and mom moms! This mini retreat is perfect for moms, mom moms, or anyone who is interested in becoming more mindful and creating a mindful home. Come and restore inner peace while you give yourself permission to rest and balance.
Together, we will practice:
*Guided Meditation – relax as you are guided at every level of being including your physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers. This practice is based on ancient yogic wisdom and is a powerful tool and antidote to modern day life through the use of breath awareness, body scanning, healing music, and nature imagery. This is true meditation - there is nothing to do; just lie back, listen, and simply notice as I guide you.
*Yin Yoga - balance & create a quiet mind while we strengthen, lengthen. This winter yin practice will stimulate the flow of chi and restore an overall sense of vibrancy and vitality in the body. There is no experience necessary for this Earthy, grounding, and ancient practice.
*Mindful Eating – practice the art of mindful eating as we share in an Ayurveda-inspired snack and sip on ginger tea, lovingly prepared by me.
*Mindfulness Jars - Create a Mind Jar to use as a meditation tool for yourself, your spouse and/or the special child in your life (a loving, mindful alternative to time-outs for younger children.)
*Gratitude – we will end our time together with a loving-kindness prayer.
