Class Schedule
Tuesday 5:30pm Candlelit Power Yoga with music (Starting in the new year)
My yoga practice began in 2019 during a time when I really needed a steady “third place.” A local studio opened in my hometown and I was drawn in by the physical practice after being a competitive dancer for 13 years. I started taking classes with my mom, and what started as a shared experience soon became something deeper. Yoga gave me the space to breathe, process emotions, and feel more present without the pressure to perform. The biggest motivation behind my practice has always been the moments when life feels a little chaotic and yoga brings everything back into focus. That “coming home” feeling is what still keeps me rolling out my mat. I knew I wanted to share this practice with others based on my experience so I did my 200hr in 2022, I’ve been teaching and continuing to learn since.
The most impactful lesson yoga has taught me is that I don’t have to force anything. When I soften, things start to shift on their own and I can appreciate the moment for what it is.
What I love most about teaching is holding space for people to feel connected and clear. It’s a privilege to guide others through a practice that helps them tune in and leave feeling a little more grounded and present.
A phrase I often return to: “You are exactly where you need to be.” It reminds me to trust the process and find a quiet joy in simply being, both on and off my mat. It connects to my favorite poem, The Orange by Wendy Cope, which recognizes the beauty of small, perfect moments, reminding me that presence itself is a kind of sweetness.
