It takes a village. Since day one, making a space for everyone, meant making a space for kids and families. Adults want to be in the yoga class, but what we heard over and over was that they didn’t have childcare and/or paying for class and childcare was way to expensive. So we decided to change the narrative and offer “Seedling Care” during certain classes to make yoga accessible to more people, people who are doing the hard-work of raising tiny humans and truly need it. Today at 9:30 am is the last day for Seedling Care in this space. Thank you to all the team members who watched the babes, the adults to trusted us, the new moms who came back to life because they got to reconnect to their bodies while we held their babes, and to the kids to made us laugh and learn. We are so much stronger as a community because our kids got to be across the hall, soaking in all the good and honest vibes in a safe and nurturing environment. Thank you, Dylan, for creating our original Seedling Care room with such vibrance and joy. Here’s our last thing we’ll say... if you have a yoga studio, we strongly suggest you find a way to offer childcare. Start with once a week, don’t get discouraged when no one shows, grab parents when a kid poops, and reach out if you want any support.
