**Attention residents and students: Attend AAFP’s National Conference virtually**

Funding opportunity applications due June 4 and June 26

Once a year, family medicine residents and medical students come together to engage in real talk about family medicine with family medicine leaders, educators, and recruiters at the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students. This year, National Conference is going virtual. From July 30 to August 1, you can attend 11 hours of education with workshops and main stage speakers. All sessions will be recorded, and registrants will have online access to the recordings for 30 days. The popular Expo Hall will be broken into “floors” so you can find the residency programs and exhibitors you are most interested in. You can schedule one-on-one appointments with residency programs, recruiters, and other exhibitors. You can also network with fellow attendees.

With the move to virtual for this year, the price tag to attend is much lower and there are more opportunities for financial assistance if you act fast.

AAFP Foundation scholarships
The AAFP Foundation is increasing the number of Family Medicine Leads Scholarships to help 750 students and residents attend. Act fast as the application closes on June 4. You can get your registration fee paid and add a scholarship to your curriculum vitae.
>Apply for an AAFP Family Medicine Leads Scholarship

TAFP Foundation travel funding
The TAFP Foundation is also increasing the number of funding slots to help 300 Texas medical students and residents attend national conference. The deadline to apply is June 26th. If you apply for TAFP Foundation funding, do not register for the conference. We will register all 300 funded attendees and pay AAFP directly.

Here’s the funding breakdown:
•Resident details
The TAFP Foundation will fund 100 resident registrations. All funding is first come, first served. The funding will cover the $130 registration fee. If you have not yet registered, please wait to sign up. TAFP will register all funded attendees and notify any applicants who are not funded before the early bird deadline expires.
>Apply for resident funding
•Student details
The TAFP Foundation will fund 200 student registrations. All funding is first come, first served and will cover the $130 registration fee. If you have not yet registered, please wait to sign up. TAFP will register all funded attendees and notify any who are not funded before the early bird deadline expires.
