Helping heroes heal.

What an amazing time this weekend at the gala.

The heartfelt testimonies were powerful and poignant reminders of the difference one organization can make.

This is especially true when that organization is led by an incredibly selfless leader like Christine Waltz.

So thankful to be a partner in your tireless mission of “saving lives, one veteran at a time.”

Conrad, a Facility Dog with Hero Dogs is assisting patients today by providing grounding support, detecting and responding to signs of stress, and offering his calming (and sometimes silly) presence.

Thank you Veterans today and everyday for protecting our country. Thank you for your sacrifices you make for our freedom.

Offering Hope” by Lori Alcott

With generous support from Trauma-Sensitive Awareness Foundation, we have been able to offer hope to trauma survivors at our clinic through our Offering Hope Grant, Jane’s Heart ❤️

This year, Dr. Lynch was able to treat 8 trauma survivors with bilateral stellate ganglion block (SGB) at no cost.

In these 8 patients, we saw:
• An average of a 36.28 point reduction in PTSD symptom scores (PCL-5), and
• An average of a 9.4 point drop in anxiety scores (GAD7).

But the real impact can be found In their own words:
“My sleep has been a lot better, as I’ve been experiencing less racing thoughts before sleeping. I have been able to concentrate better, especially through classes like pathology and anatomy. I notice that I am foot-tapping less throughout class and must step out for breaks less. Beforehand, I would lose control of feelings, and my body would tense up and at times I would cry and get headaches. Thankfully now, I am able to compose myself and act with grace.”

Thank you to Trauma-Sensitive Awareness Foundation for changing the lives of 8 survivors. 💕
