Sage Memorial Hospital and the Navajo Health Foundation are excited to present a Crochet Workshop focused on creating your own beanie.

This two-day session offers the opportunity to learn a timeless skill, nurture creativity, and connect with fellow community members in a supportive environment.

Project: Make a beanie
Dates: March 23–24, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM each day

Location: Salsbury Hall, Sage Memorial Hospital, Ganado, Arizona

Open to anyone 8 years and older. Limited to 15 participants—attendance is required both days to complete the project. All tools, yarn, and snacks will be provided.

Sage Memorial Hospital is hosting Youth Mental Health First Aid training on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Salsbury Hall.

This in-person program will teach you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18.
Ideal for teachers, school staff, coaches, camp counselors, youth group leaders, parents, and all adults who work with youth.

Wellness Recovery: 9:00 – 11:00 am
Parenting: 11:00 – 12:00 pm

Thursday
Trauma-Informed Recovery: 9:00 – 10:00 am
Traditional Healing: 10:00 – 11:00 am
Well-briety: 11:00 – 12:00 pm

*Groups listed above are a part of the intensive outpatient program for adults. Groups can be taken individually or as a part of the intensive outpatient program. 9 hours per week are required to receive credit for completion of intensive outpatient program. Prior to participation, an intake/assessment and treatment plan are required which can be completed with a behavioral health provider at Sage Memorial Hospital. Sage Memorial Hospital is proud to have contributed to the successful reopening of the Ganado Post Office on February 23, 2026, by installing a new sewer line and water line to resolve long-standing facility issues.

This essential infrastructure work ensured the building could safely resume operations after a month-long closure, restoring reliable postal services for Ganado and surrounding communities.
