Dr. Grant is an internationally recognized authority in general, geriatric and cosmetic dentistry and has been creating beautiful smiles for over 25 years. He established his Gentle Dental practice in 1995 based upon the belief that state-of-the-art dentistry services should not only be readily available, but affordable to Long Island residents. Dr. Grant received his Doctor of Medicine (DMD) degree at Southern Illinois University in 1988. Prior to starting Gentle Dental, he served as a Geriatric Dentistry Expert for the U.S. Government’s Department of Health and Human Services. He was also a member of the American Dental Association and Advanced Dentistry Accreditation Committee. Active within the community, Dr. Grant has received numerous citations from the New York Governor’s Office, the New York State Assembly and the Nassau County Executive’s Office. In addition, Dr. Grant was awarded Diplomat in Geriatric Dentistry by the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. He has served as a Chief Geriatric Dentist at major New York City and Long Island hospitals, medical centers, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University College of Dentistry, and has received fellowship status from the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry, American College of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry. Dr. Grant has lectured extensively and has been a keynote speaker at Advanced Dental Education Hospitals and Dental conventions throughout the United States and the world, most notably at the University of Hong Kong. It is the mission of Dr. Grant and his staff that patients receive the optimum in oral health care knowledge and treatment, as well as responsive customer service. The benefit to you?
