We are honored to welcome Dr. Rick Donlon as a special speaker at our upcoming Spring Benefit.

Dr. Donlon has dedicated his life to serving communities that too often go without access to care. After growing up in New Orleans and graduating from Texas Christian University, he completed medical school at LSU New Orleans and a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

In 1995, Dr. Donlon and three classmates opened a primary care health center for the poor in one of Memphis’ most medically underserved neighborhoods. What began as a single clinic grew into a network of eight health centers, five dental clinics, and a family medicine residency program that now provides more than 170,000 patient visits each year.

His impact reaches far beyond Memphis. Physicians, dentists, and healthcare workers who trained with him have gone on to serve underserved communities across the United States, and he has helped launch Christian health centers in cities including New Orleans, Kansas City, and Raleigh.

In November 2024, Dr. Donlon was named Chief Executive Officer of the Christian Community Health Fellowship, a national network of Christians and Christian health centers committed to serving the poor across the United States.

We are grateful that Dr. Donlon will be joining us as we celebrate 25 years of caring for our Treasure Valley neighbors and look ahead to the future of this mission.

💙 Featured Nonprofit Speaker: Steve D. Davis, CEO at Genesis Community Health

Steve Davis has served as CEO of Genesis Community Health since July 2016, bringing more than 25 years of leadership and marketing experience, including 16 years with Micron Technology and Micron Electronics.

Steve’s lifelong passion is following Christ and sharing God’s love with others—something he considers a privilege in his work at Genesis.

An Idaho native, Steve has been married to his college sweetheart, Marianne, for 35 years. They have three adult children, plus a lively crew of pets: three dogs, 5 cats, and two rabbits. This past December, Steve and Marianne celebrated the arrival of their first grandchild, Lochlan. Steve enjoys time with his family, fishing, golfing, and playing chess.

Genesis Community Health fills the healthcare gap for over 50,000 low-income uninsured neighbors by providing whole-person healthcare, including free medical, dental, and mental health services. With the support of community donors and 250 volunteer professionals, Genesis offers compassionate care to those often forced to choose between housing, food, and healthcare.

Genesis improves lives while reducing emergency room strain by managing chronic conditions like diabetes and depression before they become critical.
