GVRV proudly celebrated our veterans with a heartfelt ceremony honoring their courage, service and sacrifice. A special thank you to the GCHS JROTC for the presentation of the color guard, setting a tone of dignity and pride. We are grateful to the Garden City Elks Lodge for their generous gift of a special throw blanket for each resident who served. Thank you to Pastor Nathan from Turning Point Church for sharing a beautiful message of reflection and to Father Alexander from St. Mary's Church for offering a blessing over the throws and pins presented to our veterans. Our residents were truly made to feel honored, appreciated and loved. This is a reflection of the strong community support that surrounds them. From all of us at GVRV, thank you to everyone who helped make this day so meaningful!❤️🤍💙
